Tate Liverpool Parade call out

See post on Tate’s website.

Tate Collective Liverpool invites you and groups to be part of the Blueprint Parade of Living Sculptures.
The parade will be one of the highlights of the Blueprint Festival on Saturday July 19. These living sculptures are made by creative young people working collaboratively across different art forms, including: fashion and dance; sculpture and textiles; music and design; hair/beauty and performance, and performance and martial arts.
Working alongside artist Laurence Payot and taking inspiration from DLA Piper Series: Constellations, the Tate permanent collection of artworks, a number of groups have already designed some Living Sculptures which will turn people into blue artworks wandering around the busy city centre, and showcase Liverpool Young People’s talent, innovation and energy. But we want more sculptures and more people! Ahead of the parade, which will depart Tate Liverool at 18.00 there are lots of ways to get involved on the day.
