Silk is the Soul, a project initially developed by Laurence Payot as part of a R&D with Macclesfield Barnaby festival has been awarded the Young Root heritage Lottery Fund.
The project will explore the silk heritage of Macclesfield using digital technologies, working with people in the town.
The project is a collaboration between Laurence Payot, Cheshire East Council, SHIFT-Digital, and the Silk Museum Trust, working with youth organisations and schools.
