In a City of Flower – Exhibition at Crosby Library

In a City of Flowers is out for its first showing at Crosby Library, Crosby Road North, Waterloo, L22 0LQ. Private view is open to anyone, Friday 22nd of September 2-4 pm, with a round table discussion 3-4pm. Exhibition opens 22/09 till 30/09. This exhibition is hosted by At the Library and produced by Rule of Threes.

In a city of flowers will be launched with a preview event, which will be your first chance to see the exhibition before it officially opens to the public on Saturday 23rd September.

The preview will be drop in, but if you’re interested in attending please RSVP by emailing hello@inthelibrary.co.uk so we know you’re coming.

Later in the afternoon between 3:00 – 4:00pm, there will be a roundtable discussion as part of the launch event in Crosby Library’s lecture theatre. We will be joined by the artist Lou Chapelle, the Assistant Curator of Entomology at the World Museum, Tony Hunter, and FIona Sunners, Project Officer for The Wildlife Trust’s project ‘Nextdoor Nature’.

You are welcome to join the roundtable and discuss the different species of butterflies with the guest speakers as well as the creature’s changing habitats and what we can do to help improve our local natural spaces to support them to thrive.

The speakers will also share more about their own work and research, encouraging questions and participation from visitors! This is open to all community members and visitors.
