The Dawn Chorus is an artistic engagement project based at The Chapel Ormskirk Arts House (aka The chapel Gallery) aiming to create new connections between artists and communities in West Lancashire.

Lead by artist Laurence Payot with seven artists in residence, it will explore local flora as a starting point for meeting people and ask “What relationships do we have with the natural world today?”.

Outcomes will be: new ideas, a changing exhibition reflecting on the process punctuated by community events, and a newspaper.
It will plant the seeds for future public projects in the area, co-generated by people and artists.
