Dans mon Pays is a project created with La Petite Ecole de Liverpool, and funded by the French Consulat. Over the Covid lockdown and beyond, French speaking children in Merseyside have explored the theme of “country”. Coming from multiple nationalities, and speaking multiple languages, the children presented their vision of what a country is to them, and imagined what they ideal country would be like. They interviewed each other, drew and sew flags, danced, sung, created a video, and celebrated with outdoor presentations of their work in local parks.

Dans mon Pays est un projet créé avec La Petite Ecole de Liverpool, et financé par le Consulat de France. Pendant le confinement de Covid et au-delà, les enfants francophones de Merseyside ont exploré le thème du “pays”. Venant de plusieurs nationalités et parlant plusieurs langues, les enfants ont présenté leur vision de ce qu’est un pays pour eux et ont imaginé à quoi ressemblerait leur pays idéal. Ils se sont interviewés, ont dessiné et cousu des drapeaux, dansé, chanté, créé une vidéo et célébré avec des présentations de leur travail, en plein air dans les parcs locaux.
